November 2008 to February 2011 184 miles

Sadly the journal for this walk is missing, as are several others. Probably simply because my filing system is a mess and I had a computer crash some years back that destroyed a lot of data. Lesson learned.

This walk was done as a series of days and weekends (as we got further West) as time allowed.

This is a fascinating walk from international city centre to quiet rural England. The way is well marked at all stages. Around Marlow we encountered significant flooding and had to abandon the marked path. As we did it in our spare time (that is fitted in around other activities) much of this was done over winter(s).
